The splendid nature invites you to make long walks, biketours, and don’t forget golfing on the beautiful golfcourse along the bay. When you love fishing you will find many places, on the cliffs, the beach, the lakeshores.

Live music is often to be enjoyed in the pubs in Castletownbere, Allihies, Eyeries, etc. In Kenmare and Bantry shopping is nice, of course in combination with typical Irish lunch/diner and pubmusic. Famous is the Sunday lunch.

Try the route via Caha Pass or Healy Pass, you won’t regret it.

The coastal route gives you continuous stunning views. Don’t forget to pay a visit to Allihies, the colourfull minevillage with a beautiful minemuseum.

To Dursey Island you get by cable car. This is the only cablecarconnection to an island in Ireland. High above Dursey Sound, look at those waves below!
